How do we build client loyalty?  What do we need to do to become the 'go-to' person when someone thinks of real estate?  What is it we do that generates referrals?  And if we don't have loyalty, great service or a referral base, how do we create it?

Number 1 is relationships.  No one wants to open a telephone book to look for something.  Those days are history.  Our sphere of influence starts at home, family and friends, church, work and all the casual relationshipsacquaintances we meet at the grocery store, bank, post office, coffee shop, restaurant or wherever.

Number 2 is service.  If we don't provide the best service we are capable of and do it in a manner far beyond their expectations we are just another business on the block.  If we can WOW them with our service they will remember we are the 'go-to' person for results.  That includes timely returned phone calls, on time appointments and exhibiting true professionalism.

Third is expertise.  Our clients expect expert advice and delivered in a manner that makes them feel comfortable.  That might be explaining how we do what we do; listing, showing, negotiating, writing clean contracts and getting them to the closing table.customer service  Some people may not care to know the details but do want to know you are on top of it.

I believe these three things; relationships, service and expertise account for 95% of being successful...whatever your business.
