How Will the Spy Drones Affect Your Property Value?

George Orwell envisioned it; today it is reality.  30,000 Spy Drones are coming to spy on you.  Some States are passing Legislation to ban the drones.  Will a No-Drone State be more desirable to live in than a Drone State?

Florida is one of many States poised to pass Legislation against the Drones.  Will this make Florida (and other States that ban the Drones) more desirable to live in, thus [possibly] increasing Property Values?

Bloomberg Article on Drones

The Electronic Frontier Foundation reports,

"Drones are capable of highly advanced and almost constant surveillance. Drones carry various types of equipment including live-feed video cameras, infrared cameras, heat sensors, and radarDrones carry super high resolution cameras that can “track people and vehicles from altitudes above 20,000 feet.  Predator Drones can eavesdrop on electronic transmissions.  A Drone unveiled at DEFCON last year can crack Wi-Fi networks and intercept text messages and cell phone conversations - without the knowledge or help of either the communications provider or the customer. Drones are also designed to carry weapons, and some have suggested that drones carrying weapons... could be used domestically."

"It’s aerial surveillance on steroids because drones are so inexpensive and they’re potentially so wide-reaching in terms of where they can look and what they can do,” said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. “They represent a real new front in privacy invasion, so people are right to be worried about them."
